This Week in Photos: NEW & NOW.

Hello Beautiful People.

Happy Weekend:). This week has been full of the New and the Now: NEW finds and NOW moments. What this journey has consistently reminded me of is the beauty of the moment. I have found myself looking up at the sky a lot more and in return, I have been given the privilege of enjoying and capturing some spectacular sights that a minute earlier or a minute later may or may not have been there.

This week, I invite each one of you to stop and take a moment to look up at the sky, savour the embrace of a loved one, and just be completely present to the moment at hand. Life…that’s your life and mine, happens in the NOW.

I saw this incredible view and was determined to try and capture it. It was only when I sat down and looked at the photo I had taken that my breath was taken away-An Angel in the Sky.

This spectacular photo was taken in Niagara. What do YOU see?

I have been kind of obsessed with banana milkshakes lately. This week, I took it up a notch by sprinkling in some carob powder, which I have never tried before. The result: pure deliciousness! (I have included the recipe below. Enjoy!)

Each week, I am blown away by the spectacular views when we take the time to look up. I believe God uses these moments to remind us to look up to Him especially in the moments when we are tempted to focus on our circumstances.

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”-Jeremiah 29:13

As most of you may know, I love stumbling upon new organic products. This week after running out of our regular Green Beaver Cilantro-Mint Toothpaste, I came across this Neem & Pomegranate Toothpaste by Himalaya Herbal Health Care. What got my heart skipping a beat was looking at the ingredient list and not having to google the items to find out what they are! It’s a couple of days in and Drew and I are loving our new toothpaste.
